Orchestras
- Denver Philharmonic Orchestra — Founded by Dr. Antonia Brico, the first woman to conduct the New York Philharmonic Orchestra in 1938, in 1948 as the Denver Businessmen’s Orchestra. With a 69-year history in Denver, our mission is to continually redefine the way our community experiences and engages with classical music.
- Yakima Symphony Orchestra — Incorporated in March of 1971, the Yakima Symphony Orchestra is in its fourth decade of service to the Yakima Valley community. Under the batons of founding Music Director Brooke Creswell and current Music Director Lawrence Golan, the YSO has grown into a fully professional ensemble recognized nationally as one of the finest regional orchestras in the country.
- York Symphony Orchestra — Formed in 1933, the York Symphony has performed without interruption since the Depression, through World War II, and continues today. Our York Symphony Chorus was formed in the 1950’s and continues to sing with the YSO in concerts each season, as well as performing on their own.
